EXPLORATORY TALKS IN HONGKONG
On February 16, 2017, we made a quick visit at the Epiphany Church located at Mui Wo,
Lantau Island, Hongkong. We had a reunion with Fr. Alberto Rossa, the Founder and
first director of the Claretian Publications that publishes the very popular "Bible Diary".
He introduced us to the Parish Priest Rev. Josekutty Mathew and had an exploratory talk
with them on the possibilities in introducing CFM family and life programs in the community.
Currently, the parish is comprised of five local chapels:
- Tung Chung Visitation Chapel (Tung Chung)
- Epiphany Chapel (Mui Wo)
- Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel(Tai O)
- Trinity Chapel (Discovery Bay)
- Our Lady Queen of Peace
- Chapel(Peng Chau)
From now onwards, more follow-up meetings are needed for discussion and familiarization of family life concerns and needs of the community.
